Adventures in The Black Hills

We checked out Crazy Horse.  It will be awhile before he is completed.  We crawled in Rushmore Cave to see what we could see.  We got up close and personal with the presidents of Mt Rushmore.  Amazing work of art.  Then we spent the evening in Sturgis South Dakota where all the motorcycle enthusiast converge every August to show off their bikes and hang out and have a good time. It was interesting.  We can say that we have been, but we don’t have any tatoos to prove it.  We then experienced Wall, South Dakota another place that you really only need to check out once.  The Corn Palace of Mitchell did not elude us.  They spend $130,000.00 a year to decorate that building with corn cobs.  So we saw many things worth the price of admission and others we were glad that the price was free.  Traveling as a family was nice.  We did not kill each other or have any problems along the way unless you count the road work in iowa….-K
