A Frog On A Log

I’m back to doing polymer clay covered pens again. I kinda think of them as little mini art pieces. I had just finished up a herd of horses to put up on Etsy and had a few “logs” left over. A pen covered in wood grain polymer clay can be a stick for stick horses, a perch for birds or logs for frogs.

Look at him just smiling at you, relaxing on the end of the pen. What is going through that little green mind of his? Holding his chin, I’m guessing he’s thinking some nice thoughts.

I’m sure there are a few other things that could sit on these pens. I will not rest until I fully explore all the possibilities in my head! – T

Polymer Clay Shy Frog

Another frog, only this time it’s in a much better mood. He makes me smile when I see him out there. I wonder why he’s got that shy little smile on his face?

Uh oh, maybe because he’s nakey… I didn’t give him any swim trunks!

Polymer Clay Sad Froggy

I really don’t know what this guy is so sad about. He almost looks as though he’s sorry for doing something he shouldn’t have. Maybe I should go turn the water on outside that should cheer him up!

Has anyone seen the sprinkler head! I’m sure I left it here on the table next to Froggy…Hmm… Froggy? Did you eat it?!

This guy is for sale in my Etsy Shop – T

Polymer Clay by the Pool

The weather has been so nice lately you just feel like you need to be outdoors, even if you have to do yard work. In the warmth of the sun you tend to get a little toasty. The pool is looking very inviting, cool, clean and calm…actually, it’s ice-cold, tons of chlorine and no kids in it! I wait until the water temperature is well into the 60’s before I’ll go in! Yes, I am a big sissy. But why not dip our feet in for a bit.

I guess not everyone is as picky as me about going for a swim…

You can see him better in this picture since he’s not hanging out in the jasmine.

I think I caught him off guard, he looks a little embarrassed.  – T

Backyard’s a Bloomin’

With all the rain we got a while ago my backyard is showing it off now! It smells wonderful out there, everything is blooming too!

We have a small fence that leads out to my garden that’s covered with a ton of  jasmine…Hey!

I guess I’m not the only one enjoying the awesome fragrance!   – T
