I promised I would tell you about my second entry for the San Diego County Fair. I made a bead that had a beach theme. It had a big wave, a sand castle, some footprints in the sand and a big sun. But it did not excite me. I had initially wanted to enter one of my beads that I turn on the lathe. So I looked around to see if I had one that was nearly finished. I found one that I really liked that just needed to be sanded and buffed to a nice shine. I wanted to add some wire and accent beads to dress it up a bit. I used some crystals. Give it a little Bling! I even created the Bead Stand for it so it can be displayed at the fair. You can check it out there. -K

I have gotten to play with the clay a bit. I made some extrusions using the Makin’s extruder. I like to mess with my scraps too, so here is what I came up with.
I have been planning on finishing some beads that I made on the lathe for Sandy Camp. These are a few I have been working on. I have lots of items planned. So now I need to stick myself to my clay desk and get makin! – K
My plate has been full too, but the biggest problem is I can’t find the tools I want to use. But I did some cleaning up of my studio area this weekend. I found my Lathe, that I could not find when someone ask what brand it was. I needed my Heat gun, but could not find it to do a texture block. I found that too. I found all the Supplies for things that I hope to get made for Sandy Camp to sell in the store. So tomorrow I should have no excuses. Right?! So I will keep you all posted of the wonderful things my mind has been coming up with in the last few days! -K
