Mellowcreme Pumpkins in Polymer Clay

New in my Etsy Shop….

itty bitty polymer clay Mellowcreme Pumpkin beads!

I love the candy! I could eat a whole bag(or two) no problem. I may try to make the other things in the bag, maybe. I think this may require more research….

Yum! – Tina

Coincidence?

Jack thought it was a bit odd that his surgery was scheduled for October 30th….

Poor ‘Lil Polymer Clay Pumpkin

Boy, talk about a bad day!

I’m not sure if I need to seek help…

I’m having too much fun with these pumpkins. I wonder, how should I carve the real thing for Halloween? So many choices…muahaha…  -T

Moving Along Quickly

Wow, it’s almost time for school to start! It’s been such a slow drawn out torture…I mean, such a short summer with the kids! Does it have to end so soon? Before you know it, we’ll be decorating for Halloween!

I can hardly wait!  – T

Thread Bags

It seems like I haven’t been sharing much of what I’ve been doing lately. I guess I have been actually doing stuff! I have pushed the clay to the side for a bit (not really, just in my head, it’s still all over the dining room).

My sister-in-law’s quilt guild had a mini retreat this past Saturday. I offered to help her make some thread bags, one for each attendee. We made 35 all together. A thread bag is usually just a paper bag, taped to the table, to catch the threads you clip off of whatever you’re sewing. Yeah, a little trash bag. So rather than making life easy and using paper, we decided to sew fabric bags. 35 is a bigger number than we first thought!

I also gave everyone a couple of decorative pins. I had to get a little polymer clay in there!

It was fun to surprise them with a little something.  – T

I’ve Been Feeling….Orange!

I guess it’s better than feeling blue. It’s the season, I suppose. I made more carrot pens for my Etsy Shop and while I was at it I made more pumpkins. Happy, silly and  nervous so far. I’m doing an angry one now. Where are my tools?! This guy needs something plunged into his head. There we go!

Oops! The candy corn is real. I was snackin’.

Ok guys, group photo! Look over here…now, smile!

Group shots are so hard to get! Seems like there’s always somebody not paying attention.

I guess that’s the best I can do. At least nobody’s mooning the camera! Crazy carrots. – T

Awaiting the Great Pumpkin

Just sitting out here in the pumpkin patch, waiting for The Great Pumpkin. I, like Linus, have never seen him…

I’m guessing it’s because I don’t stay up until midnight in a cold pumpkin patch!

Not happening. – T

Polymer Clay Pumpkin Beads

Beads! I love beads! Finding out I could make my own beads in polymer clay pretty much means I will never put the stuff down. I don’t think I will ever get tired of making beads. There are so many options. If I search the internet images I get a visual overload! I don’t do it much anymore, I’m not a strong enough person. So, here I am in my own little world… making pumpkins.

Just as with any great obsession, I get on a roll and make about a zillion of these at a time.

At least I have my Etsy shop now!

I’m getting the urge to make more beads. Gotta go! – T

Why The Panic?

I don’t understand why all the holiday decorations have to be out soooo early at the stores! But then again, as it gets closer to the holiday the stuff goes on sale and I still have time to decorate before hand! Yay!

We're ready!

I still get a feeling of panic seeing the holiday goodies at the stores and coming home to an undecorated house. Things will sneak up on me if I put them on the back burner (really, when cooking too!). I may have to risk looking like a holiday nut and just get my stuff out when the stores do. Rather than just looking like a nut…  – Tina

The Other Polymer Clay Seeds…

I mentioned before I have a few pumpkin seeds. I should probably plant them soon if I want  any pumpkins ready for Halloween! They look happy now, wait until they find out what I have planned for them….Muahahaha!

In case you haven’t noticed, look up at our banner.

There is a picture of their uncle, he wasn’t grumpy before he had that saw thrust into his cranium! He could really use some Tylenol and a Band-Aid!  – T
