Hail Hail, The Gang’s All Here!

I just loved working on this Special Order! Look at all these little octopi-ettes, you can tell they are girls from their flower headbands.

I love the colors she chose, bright and cheery. I’ll be sad to see them go.

They can hardly wait to go, you can almost hear them giggling!  – T

Dragon Berries

Today there was a little napping going on in the garden. No, not me. It is a tad too hot for me. But I guess not too hot for a fire-breather!

This polymer clay guy is happily resting on his nest of greens and berries in my garden. Uh oh, I think we woke him up…

I had fun making this little baby. I need to make him some brothers and sisters.  – T

Dragon Attack

The other day I seemed to get a little push from the great beyond or something. I just had this feeling I need to add more stuff in my Etsy Shop. I didn’t question the feeling I just did it. Usually, I will question – is this good enough? I think we all do. Art is very personal. I have so much stuff made and ready to sell at a craft sale.

Digging around I found my Christi Friesen inspired dragons I made a while back. I have all her books, she’s awesome!

I really like this one, he’s my new favorite. – T

Excuse Me While I Freshen Up

I’m still working on little polymer clay things.

What? …. it’s not food? Maybe I’ll take a break from food right now.

As usual I get on a roll and go too far. Because really, how many of these does a girl need? Maybe quite a few, these are only 1 inch tall! I was going to make lots of colors, but I really like the red. Funny thing, I almost never wear lipstick! I think bright red would not be my first choice.

Next project – mini watermelon slices. I had some, just not enough to fill the 3″ bottle. I better go check the garden, see how they’re doing.  – T

Fresh From The Oven, Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies… in Polymer Clay

I bet I had your mouth watering there for a minute, tee hee! Cookies, lots of little tiny cookies.

I had a request from a customer/friend for handfuls of random little things to fit in small bottles to display. She must have a fun collection by now! It’s been fun brainstorming with her figuring out what will be next. She only has a couple bottles left to fill, darn. I may have to find more bottles for her!  – T

Check out my Etsy Shop, there’s more stuff that doesn’t make it to the blog!

Polymer Clay Dragon Heart Pendant

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about fantasy themed things. You know, one inspiration leads to another.

I was looking for a quick polymer clay fix. The steampunk lead back to a heart pendant. Only I didn’t feel like doing a basic red.

Hearing the growling behind me…

…my son is playing World Of Warcraft. My work space is in the same room as the computer. WOW is loaded with awesome creatures! Yes, a dragon heart! Then I thought of that movie with the same name – DragonHeart. In the movie Dennis Quaid becomes friends with the last dragon and there’s an issue with the dragon’s shared heart, the king, good and evil. That’s why it’s stitched up.

I guess I could do red too. – T

Little Owls On Etsy

These little birdies are new in my Etsy Shop. They are actually in with the one listed as a necklace WHOO is purple, these are the others available upon request.

I think Nikki did a great job making these owl beads. Yeah, I let her sneek ’em in. She’s trying to make enough money to go to Warped Tour to see her favorite bands.

I put them on a chain and made the necklaces so, I can put them in my shop. Really good chain I might add, she didn’t like the cheapy stuff. I enjoyed making up necklaces with her, she has her own style. Very cool.  – T
